A good yarn of betrayal of trust and serious sexual assault of women arrestees and prisoners is shaping up in Geordie-land.
A 41-year-old Northumbria Force detective has been arrested with no charges yet brought and is now suspended, presumably by the short and curlies, while his fellow wooden tops from HQ investigate claims of serious sexual assaults on over 20 women over the past ten years. There is no clue to the alleged attacker’s rank in the Sunday Sun today
His fellow officers are said to be “stunned.”
Why? Too thick to spot a sexual assault in a locked environment?
