I like the fact that the media are telling us that ‘Millions watched the eclipse’. WTF! It was in India and China, the two most populous countries in the world. Of course millions watched it. There was little else to do for 6 minutes.
The other thing that this shows is that the tiger economies of the far east are outstripping the flagging economies of the west. Not too long ago this eclipse would have been held during daytime in europe not at night when we have to watch it on TV.
