THE last zebra in Gaza’s Yet Marah Zoo is a donkey with painted black and white stripes.
“It’s really a painted donkey,” ways Mahmud Berghat, the director of Marah. “We cut its hair short and then painted the stripes.”

احببت فقط ان اوضح لكم سبب تفكيري بصباغة حمار عادي كي يصبح حمار مخطط ( زيبرا ) ما دفعني لفعل ذلك هو ان اطفالنا الذين يعانون من ضيق الحصار ومن الاحتلال ومحرومون من البسمة لطالما احبو ان يروو الحمار الحشي والذ من الصعب ادخاله الي قطاع غزة , فكانت محوالة منا للتخفيف عن اطفالنا الاحباء ولو استطعنا فعل اكثر من ذلك لفعلنا , ولاي احد يريد الاستفسار عن اي شئ بخصوص الحديقة هذا ايميلي ورقمي

Technically, any crossing would be a Zekey or a Donbra, as in Lion + Tiger = Liger. It’s male’s first half of species + female’s. Search for Sinbad the Liger, very scary!!
Do they have any other shit animals at the zoo?
I paid ten pounds to get into a Zoo once and all they had was a small dog in a cage. When I complained, the lady told me it was a shitzu. I had to agree.
