Spurs’ Legions Of Bent Fans Pray Levy Reads Twitter

by | 31st, July 2009

darren-bent1ON Twitter, Tottenham Hotspur striker (allegedly) Darren Bent is pushing for move to mighty Sunderland by, allegedly, opining:

“Seriously getting p***** off now. Why can’t anything be simple. It’s so frustrating hanging round.”

This, dear reader, might be taken as summary of Bent’s career at Spurs – an inability to put a ball in big net on a regular basis and lots of hanging about waiting for the ball to arrive. But no. Well, not only. Bent has more, it seems:

“Sunderland are not the problem in the slightest. Do I wanna go Hull City? NO. Do I wanna go Stoke? NO. Do I wanna go Sunderland? YES. So stop f****** around Levy.”

Yeah, Daniel Levy (Tottenham chairman), stop f***ing about you numpty, stop holding Darren Bent back and allow him to deliver his special gifts to the people of Sunderland for a knock down, bargain bucket fee of £14million.

If cheering Bent doesn’t work, it might be timr for Plan B: listen out for the Bentmaniacs jeering their man’s every kick and so oiling the wheels of the great man’s departure…
