Mr Katie Price, Peter Andre, ‘Never Liked Jordan’
SENTIMENTAL Peter Andre is on the cover of heat magazine, his hair un-gelled, his chest un-oranged and bared, and news that “I NEVER liked Jordan” and that Pete is set to “REVEAL ALL”.
This is Peter the Good, the simpering media antithesis to Katie Price The Bad.
The magazine’s Kay Ribeiro tells us that Katie has given interviews on the telly, talked to a magazine and appeared in “barely-there clothes”; Pete has maintained a “dignified silence” – which you can read about in the News of the World magazine, see on This Morning and feel in his lyrics to his new album.
Now Pete has, er, “finally decided to speak out”.
Pete is clearly nothing like Jordan, so here he is pictured with bare chest, fresh from calling Katie “cheap”, to say that he has “moved on”.
On Sunday, Pete had not moved on yet. But now Peter has moved on. What happened, Pete?
heat says Pete has read the story about Katie Price and her new cage-fighting man. So he’s now moved on. So what about you, Peter Andre?
Peter says he told Katie what he thought of her, “privately”. Or as he told the NOTW: “I did phone her and tell her she was a disgrace.” He then repeats that Katie was a “disgrace” in Ibiza. He then says Katie’s media interviews are “dirty money”.
Pete’s interviews are clean money, so the pantomime narrative goes. And then Pete comes clean when he says, “I never liked the Jordan character.”
And so we duly get another media invention: Katie Price and Jordan. They are, of course, the same person. The dichotomy between Jordan the tart and Katie Price the home maker and Olympic hopeful is a cynical marketing ploy.
Incidentally, Peter Andre has a new album out called – get this – Behind Closed Doors.

No Peter Andre is not gay. This is a song from the heart about, well, who knows?
