Countless Injured In Blackpool Roller Coaster Accident

TO Blackpool Pleasure Beach, where 21 injured people on the Big Dipper on the resort’s South Shore are injured as two cars crash together and came to rest 20ft off the ground.

The Aberdeen Evening Express plays Tabloid Bingo and ups the horror to “32 injured in Big Dipper accident”.

You want thrills? You can’t handle the thrills. Says a spokesman:

“Most of those were superficial injuries, as well as a range of injuries including whiplash, broken bones and back injuries.”

Martin McKay, 27, of East Kilbride, Scotland, who was on the ride with one of his children says:

“One car crashed into the other. We were going quite fast at the time, around 30 miles an hour at a guess.”
