The Lake Minnewanka Squirrel
ON the Anorak Forums, Yampster notes: “Bill Bryson says that all North American place names are taken from the first white man to arrive or the last Indian to leave. I wonder what this one was up to when they found him.”
And so the story of the squirrel who ianved a family portrait in Lake Minnewanka in Banff National Park, Canada.

Mrs Melissa Brandts said:
“We had our camera set up on some rocks and were getting ready to take the picture when this curious little ground squirrel appeared, became intrigued with the sound of the focusing camera and popped right into our shot.”
“It was a once in a lifetime moment – we were laughing about this little guy for days!”
