Slimmer Of The Year Leanne Needham Heeds The Fat Haters
LEANNE Needham, from Sheffield, holds up a cardboard cut-out of her as a size 22 fatty/NHS pariah/ victim as she becomes Slimming World’s ‘Young Slimmer of the Year 2009′ at The Ritz in central London.
Leanne is delighted at now being acceptable – a media hero – and looks fit to burst, much like her old jeans she is seen wearing and now carrying about her like a totem.
Leanne went from 17st 10lbs in June 2007 to her current weight of 10st 7lbs.
She was probably morbidly obese, a neat modern term that reminds fatties that they are a deadly danger to the public at large, should they fall on them or eat all the world’s protein and milkshakes.
Says she:
“By the age of 17 I weighed more than my age – and more than my dad. I’d been bullied since the age of 10 because of my size – a classmate once told me it was time I went to a ‘fat club’.
“I couldn’t fit comfortably into the seats at uni so I began to skip lectures and my grades began to suffer. When my doctor said that losing weight could help me overcome these problems I knew I had to make a change.”
Yeah, the bullying worked, especially when it was coordinated with some NHS tagteam bullying.
Thanks to Leanne we now have a new reason to fear fatness, it being a gateway to acute graduation failure.
The fat – fear them!
