jacko-1907MICHAEL Jackson Homicide Watch: Anorak’s at-a-glance look at Michael Jackson in the news – Drug cocktails, Dr Robert, Jackson brothers get reality TV series, Paris Jackon puts her hair in a paper bag…

I’m no medical expert, but…

Anyone columnist a second opinion?

SAWF News: Minders snatch up Paris Jackson’s locks

Minders swept up Paris Jackson’s hair left on the hairdresser’s floor to prevent it being snatched for DNA testing…  Paris, 11, had a trim at the salon. Her locks were stored in plastic bags to stop them from being taken.

Of course, the hairs are being used to create a new wig for Jackson, who remains alive in rural Sweden.

NY Times Brian Stelter

Two months after the sudden death of Michael Jackson, the cable channel A&E confirmed on Tuesday that Mr. Jackson’s brothers will be the subjects of a reality television series.

The big question: who gets the dark glasses contract?

The Times Chris Ayres: “Just dial 0 for the rock’n’roll docs with legal, tax-free drugs'”

It is thought that the Beatles wrote the song Dr Robert on the 1966 album Revolver about a private physician who supplied the band with generous amounts of amphetamines…

It was 40 years later, in 2006, that Jackson was introduced to Conrad Murray, who provided the singer with his medication.

Do you see the link?

It is not yet clear if Dr Murray had prescribed all the drugs, or if they had been obtained elsewhere.

So no link, then?

With Dr Murray now facing imminent arrest, even the prescriptions of rock’n’roll doctors are likely to become a little more scarce.

Yeah, likely. Such are the facts.

Carey Marx: “I’m not doing any Michael Jackson jokes, because they always involve puns about his songs. And that’s bad.”

A rat-a-tat-tat.

JOAN RIVERS IN OK!:

Last time you were inspired?
Probably this morning, to write a joke about how stupid Brooke Shields was at Michael Jackson’s funeral, considering she hadn’t seen him since 1993.

The Fringe Does Jackson

A blatant piece of opportunistic programming, this lame comedy has the king of pop turning up at the pearly gates to the delight of the seraphim, who have recently voted him top in a poll of the people the angels would most like to see die. Now he’s forced to wait in purgatory for a week to discover if he’s bound for heaven or hell. The audience vote to decide the result, but this takes place before the show, suggesting the producers have little faith that there will be anyone who cares enough left at the end to cast a vote.

Opportnism. Michael Jackson. Make the link…
