Jaycee Dugard: Rape Orgies, The Jaycee Dugard Barbie And Garrido Confesses
JAYCEE Lee Dugard - Anorak’s look at Jaycee Dugard in the news: 140 perverts raped Jaycee, taking Madonna’s virginity, the Jaycee Dugard Barbie doll and Phillip Garrido confesses…
Daily Star: “Jaycee’s 140 local perverts.”
Jaycee Dugard lived in a “pervert’s paradise”.
Paradise for perverts is a dusty place in Antioch, California.
JAYCEE Lee Dugard was held captive for 18 years in a squalid neighbourhood crawling with paedophiles and rapists. Her kidnapper Phillip Garrido threw drunken orgies in his back yard and police suspect that local sex fiends took turns abusing Jaycee.
The contest to make this story even worse is being enjoyed by the Star.
More than 140 beasts are registered there after seeking refuge in the dreary, crime-ridden back- water following prison, as they could blend in there unnoticed… Detectives are now piecing together what happened to Jaycee and the two daughters Garrido fathered with her in captivity. Their fear now is that LSD junkie Garrido served up Jaycee like a piece of meat to his predator pals.
The fear is not the fact. The fear may even – get his – titillate the reader.
Polly White, 65, one of Garrido’s neighbours, said: “We found out there’s a predator living up the road and we were less worried about Garrido than the other one.’’
But what about the people not on the sex offenders’ lists? What about Nancy Garrido?
ABC New York: “Nancy Garrido Was Well-Liked Nursing Aide”
Nancy Garrido, accused of kidnapping Jaycee Dugard with her husband, Phillip, and keeping her as a sex slave for 18 years, worked as a well-liked nursing aide and may have helped deliver and treat Dugard’s babies, according to a report…
What esle?
“What she said that I can tell you about is there came a time when she felt like they were a family, and she loves the girls very much and she loved Jaycee very much.” Gilbert Maines, Nancy Garrido’s attorney, told NBC’s The Today Show. “That seems a little strange, given the circumstances, but that’s what she said to me.”
Yeah, Nancy Garrido’s laywer is on the telly. Is Jaycee Duagrd’s ordeal now being played out for our entertainment?
LA TIMES: “Thursday’s talk shows”
The Martha Stewart Show Baker Matt Lewis prepares chocolate pie and pumpkin whoopie pies; floral designer Oscar Mora creates a fall arrangement using hydrangeas. 2 p.m. KNBC
Oprah Winfrey Memorable performances, including appearances by illusionist Criss Angel and ventriloquist Terry Fator. (N) 3 p.m. KABC
Dr. Phil The Jaycee Dugard abduction case. (N) 4 p.m. KCBS
The Ellen DeGeneres Show Simon Cowell; Zachary Quinto; the Black Eyed Peas perform. 4 p.m. KNBC
Now that’s entertainment. But how else can the media use the story of a girl’s ordeal?
That People maggie is publishing a special cover of Sen. Ted Kennedy - to be distributed just in Massachusetts - on Friday. The new issue, which will include an eight-page photo album and shared memories from F.O.T.s, will feature kidnapping victim Jaycee Dugard on the cover in the rest of the country.
And now Jaycee Dugard’s family start to talk to the media.
OC Register: “Aunt shares story of reuniting with abducted girl -Tina Dugard spent 5 days with Jaycee Dugard, her girls and her mother just after Jaycee was set free.”
Are you ready for some truly awe-inspiring journalism? You may never be ready:
Dugard pointed to a Barbie doll, still in its box, sitting on a table in her living room. It was a Christmas present for Jaycee the year she disappeared, 1991 – a present Dugard never was able to give her niece…
Instead of ripping open the box containing her Happy Holidays Christmas Barbie, Jaycee was thrown into her own airtight container..
Daily Mirror: “I’LL KILL SICK ANIMAL WHO TOOK MY JAYCEE”
Vietnam veteran Kenneth Slayton, 64, says:
“When I think about what she went through, it’s just horrible. I’d love to get my hands on Garrido and kill him.” Pointing to a metal hook in his front garden, he paused before adding: “Actually, I wouldn’t kill him - I’d hang him from that pole and he’d be begging for death.”
The benefit of hindsight:
Mercury News: “Garrido made suggestions for kidnapping-prevention fact sheet he printed for child safety advocate”
After decades working with criminals and gang members as a youth counselor and child safety advocate, Janice Gomes says her instincts about people are usually pretty good.
But Phillip Garrido had her fooled.
He printed Gomes’ business cards for 15 years and created fliers for her nonprofit work with the National Community Empowerment Program.
On a job in 2000, a kidnapping-prevention fact sheet, Garrido chimed in with suggestions for Gomes.
“He said, ‘Children should never go to a bus stop alone,’” Gomes said. “He said — what were his exact words — ‘They’re no match for an adult’… He said, ‘If an adult approaches a group, they all scatter and you just grab one. That’s all you want anyhow.’”
And then:
Gomes remembers him singing Madonna, including her hit Like a Virgin. “That’s really freaky now when you think of it,” she said. “‘Touched for the very first time?’ That’s just sickening.”
Well, not really. Kidnapping and raping a child is sickening.
Jaycee Duagard - Feeding the media since 2009.

Isn’t it part of the human condition that we wallow in and rubber neck at the tragedies of others, all the while seriously hoping it won’t happen to us. There are the extremely ghoulish who seem to enjoy it but have no perception whatsoever of the victims pain and suffering, and seem to feel that its all happened for their own entertainment.
But the Media seem to have lost sight of decency and selling their product is first and foremost, and the victim is just there not to be respected but relished to the full.
Susannah, I don’t think they intend for any benefit to anyone to come of their prying, and in most cases it is prying, its bodies like Amnesty and diplomats who have to rescue people from Abu Ghraib or other injustices.
The inmates just get a nod if it sells newspapers

Yes, I can see the satire, though sometimes it’s a bit feeble.
However, the media does lay itself on the line to be parodied, and Anorak does point out that the main issue/s is/are that a child is missing, or that a youngster has been kidnapped, held and abused for years.
Perhaps, Anorak, you need to assert your own serious reflections a bit more clearly?
On the other hand (I’m a philosopher so always have to sit on the fence!!), the public does have a desire to know about cases like these - not exactly a right as such, but the media is merely answering what I suppose is natural curiosity. Is it any worse to want to know about cases like Jaycee Dugard’s than about, say, abuse of prisoners in Abu Ghraib?
Of course, you could say that the Dugard case is private, and that curiosity becomes prurience, whereas in the case of Abu Ghraib we can do something about this, as it is a political concern…..
And so the philosopher witters on…………………….and on………… : - }

I understand that this is a “humor” site, but rape is not a joke. Why does this site keep publishing stories that treat the rape of children as something to be laughed at? This is a serious problem.
Moderator - Its a satirical site of the media relishing the rape or abuse of children, I think it goes without saying that it is a very serious problem
