And the scoop is with the Mirror’s 3am girls, who are using their new blog to advertise the fact that the 3am girls can be the 3pm girls sat in an office pod flipping though paparazzi images rather than out mingling and looking to write the ultimate 3am story:

“My five-times-a-night with Noel Edmonds/ Robbie Williams/ Well’ Ard/ etc.”

The Mirror is not averse to a bit of porn. Without the Page 3 of its red-top rivals the Sun and Star, the Mirror did, nonetheless, once publish pictures of people urinating on one bound up figures in a van. Had the protagonists been celebs, then editor Piers Morgan would have had a scoop; sadly the pictures were not of British squaddies weeing on Iraqi prisoners either, so he lost his job.

But the vagina is Lohan’s own, unless she uses a body double, or spare parts. So it’s a scoop, beating the Star’s The Goss Girls and Gordon Smart who writes The Sun’s Bizarre column.

The newspaper industy is contracting and online the drive is for new eyeballs that don’t see papers. Youth is all. Titilation and celebrity rules.

How long before the Mirror features topless women on its pages and really takes on The Sun?
