Fox: “Janet Jackson’s ‘rage’ on movie set”

Janet Jackson is purging her grief over the death of brother Michael during filming of her latest movie. She smashed up the set in one emotionally-charged scene. The singer/actress is currently working on Why Did I Get Married Too?, the sequel to 2007 film Why Did I Get Married?…

Janet Jackson charmingly, if somewhat blandly, incarnates Patricia, an award-winning pop psychologist” – or the irony.

The 43-year-old had to smash a series of props for a scene in the movie and the pent-up rage over the events surrounding her brother’s passing caused her to snap three sturdy golf clubs, according to the movie’s director Tyler Perry.

Is she OK, Tyler?

He tells the New York Daily News, “There’s a scene where Janet was angry and she was supposed to break some things in the house. She broke three golf clubs out of the rage over everything that was happening. She’s a very strong woman.”

And an actress.

ETOnline: “Tyler Perry on Janet Jackson and the Day Michael Died”

Madea is back for more in ‘Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All By Myself,’ in theaters Friday, and Tyler recalls the emotional moments working with Janet Jackson when she learned her brother had died.

What was the name of that film?

Upon discovering what had happened, he spoke with Janet, who he says was “very strong; very quiet, very solid, like a mother…”

And then she smashed up the props, quietly?

…Out of respect, Tyler says that he rewrote a particularly relevant scene in the movie: “There was a funeral at the end of the movie where she had to talk about a person who had died, and it was so eerie because the things that she was saying were so close,” he explains. “I didn’t want to put her through that.”

Thanks for sharing.

WXYZ.com: “Janet Jackson’s pride at Paris’ speech”

Michael Jackson’s sister Janet was overwhelmed with pride when the late star’s 11-year-old daughter Paris stepped up to speak at his memorial service, calling the youngster “incredibly smart” and “sweet.”

Michael Jackson – everyone gets a piece.
