Elisabetta Briatore Show Us Around Flavio’s Home

ELISABETTA Briatore wonders, “Is there anything more beautiful than having children?”

Dressed in a riding-high short red dress and lipstick, the question could be mistaken for an offer to Hello!’s readership. But it’s not. Elisabetta is married to Flavio Briatore, who thanks to allegations of cheating has left his post as principal of Renault’s Formula 1 team. Motor sports loss could be Elisabetta’s gain.

Inside the Briatore’s home we realise that Flavio, never seen with a beard, has created a place where a man can shave wherever he sees fit – by looking into one of the gilded walls, staring at his reflection from shot upwards glistening floors or, should he see fit, looking into one of the many mirrors that line the bathroom walls.

Before we meet Elisabetta, a word from Ermanno Scervino, who works as Elisabetta’s stylist from his Sloane Street shop:

“Elisabetta is beautiful, kind and intelligent… She represents a typically Mediterranean beauty that’s not easy to find in international models.”

Especially in London flats.

Then we meet Elisabetta, who gives an insight into her day – she says being married to Flavio is like a “job”:

“During the day, I go to the park first thing do some shopping, then head to Flavio’s office. I like us to have lunch together… At night – if we’re not too tired – we love to dine out at Cipriani or Eight over Eight.”

Where do you ask is the time for children in this maelstrom of activity?

As Hello! says: “It seems you never slow down.”

What’s more, Elisabetta has begun work on her line of children’s wear, called Kids Billionaire.

“The Underwear collection includes accessories needed to wear them underneath low-cut or transparent tops.”

Sounds great. Maybe mum can wear them for when Silvio arrives home..? Vrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmm! Vroom!
