Maureen Dowd And The Making Of Barack Hitler Hussein Obama

by | 23rd, September 2009

NEW York Times columnist Maureen Dowd hears things other do not.
Republican congressman from the South, Joe Wilson, heckles Barack Hitler Obama with the cry “You lie”.

Maureen Dowd pricks up her ears:

“…what I heard was an unspoken word in the air: ‘You lie, boy!’ Some people just can’t believe a black man is president and will never accept it.”

You lie?

Dowd might reprehend the true meaning of what she is saying, but Ace of Spades (yeah, Spades) hears you, Maureen and delivers his Top Ten American Political Quotations. Put on those Dowd Cansspeak into one end and hear exectly what you want to come out the other! –  and listen up:

10. JFK: “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country, you greasy Dago bastard.”

8. Bill Clinton: “I want to say one thing to the American people. I want you to listen to me. I’m going to say this again: I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Sheeney McHebrewstein.”

6. Will Rogers: “I never met a man I didn’t like. On the other hand, I don’t know any chinks.”

2. Richard M. Nixon: “I. Am not. A Jew.”

1. America’s All-Time Longest-Serving Senator, Democrat Robert Byrd: “I shall never fight in the armed forces with a Negro by my side… Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.” [quote unaltered]

Over in the Mail, Gavin Esler asks:

The ugly question that won’t go away… Can America EVER unite behind a black President?

“…you ****!”

What about: can American united under any president?

If Carter is correct – and I have spoken to white as well as black Americans who broadly agree he is – then simply putting an African-American President in office has not been enough to reverse the bitterest legacy of America’s original sin, slavery.

If Jimmy Carter is correct, then any non-Jew criticising Israel is an anti-Semite and Howard Jacobson is right.

And wost of all:

Some have portrayed Obama with a Hitler moustache – in a crude suggestion that he has totalitarian ambitions.

Well, like Hitler, Barry has a moustache of power, a hand gesture and a little dolly. The Obasmus is upon us. The Huffington Post even say Obama as Hitler. John McCain wold have been an even bigger Hitler.

Benedict Nightingale alluded to it:

“There can’t be a politician who looks and acts more clean-living… He does not wave his hands about very much. And when he does it is not an empty gesture but serves to underline a point.”

Thomas Sowell sees a likeness:

To find anything comparable to crowds’ euphoric reactions to Obama, you would have to go back to old newsreels of German crowds in the 1930s, with their adulation of their fuehrer, Adolf Hitler.
Gerhard Spörl in Der Spiegel sensed it:
Anyone who saw Barack Obama at Berlin’s Siegessäule on Thursday could recognize that this man will become the 44th president of the United States. He is more than ambitious—he wants to lay claim to become the president of the world…

Drew Grant agreed. And like, Hitler, there is a plot to kill Obama, the Death Cult SS.

It’s not politics. It’s the art, stoopid.

Question: Before Hitler, who was every leader compared to? He’s a real little Ghengis…
