Face Of Tesco’s Is Illegal Immigrant
TESCO worker Fatou Cham, 32, face of the store’s Florence and Fred, came to the UK from Gambia in 1998 on a student visa but stayed after it expired in 2001.
To help our the border police, Tesco stuck a label on Ms Cham’s head:
“Designed by F&F. Priced by Tesco. Modelled byFatou, checkout number 6, Tesco, east London.”
Any more clues, needed, lads?
Immigration officers questioned Miss Cham at her home in East Ham, London. Her solicitor Jamil Trawally tells the Sunday Mirror:
“It is not as though she tried to avoid the authorities because she applied to stay. I am sure she was brought to the attention of the police because of the Tesco campaign.”
Says Miss Cham:
“I came here for a better life and never set out to deceive anyone. I just want to stay here with my family and be happy.”
We offer no comment on there case. But the most interesting part of this story is how a woman who studied banking, economics and finance at London Metropolitan University end up working on a check out in Tesco.
That should deter anyone else from bothering with further education…

‘I hope they do the right thing and deport her. Every little helps.’
Oooh lookie, Tesco do an exchange for Air-Miles, so it could be achieved without opening the taxpayers wallet again.

Other that a familial predisposition towerd spondylitis, and the bong eye that prevented me from seeing a few cars coming; they are mostly my own stupid fault. When you’ve been run over twice and survived relatively unscathed, you begin to think you are indestructible. Which you aren’t; and you only find this out years later.
I deserve no sympathy for ignoring the man I would be in the future, but I thank you for it anyway.

Sorry to hear about your injuries mI. That’s pretty shitty. There’s a world of difference between what’s happened to you and the sort of people I was talking about though who refuse to work. There’s a big part of me that admires Miss Cham for what’s she’s done and for doing the best for her kids but, unfortunately, she’s here illegally so has no right to stay (unless she wins an appeal or Jack Straw sticks his ample nose in to win a few votes). If that happens, good luck to her!
Anyway, thanks for the reply and I hope you get better XX

I am, quite possibly, the last person one should turn to for a serious discussion involving - the present, or the immediate future; race; religion or climatology - Dr. E. (I’ll stop doing that if you object to your name resembling that of a commercial radio DJ) thanks to the bizarre and contrary views that I hold on most subjects. But I’ll try…
Firstly, we must have work for anyone (scumbag or otherwise) to be urged, cajoled or propelled forcefully into. Mostly these would have to be unskilled or semi-skilled labour. Technology has taken the mills from us; economics our manufacturing base; outsourcing our service industries, efficiency our agricultural labour needs. It will take something akin to a new feudalism to restore these jobs to indigenous Britons. When the oil runs out Britain may return to this state, but I don’t desire it; and long for an energy revolution to fend off its arrival.
Yes, Britain is seen by some (the poor, deluded fools) as a soft touch - but this land of milk and honey will require them (like us) to be stamped, filed, indexed, briefed, debriefed and numbered - to no great benefit to their longevity, work opportunities or educational avenues. They’d be better off in their home countries - at least for the next five years. Providing, of course, that those countries are not war-torn, beset by religious or cultural intolerance of their gender, own religious views or sexual orientation. There aren’t many of those.
I certainly wouldn’t accuse you of being racist, which is the amoeba-like stimulus/response attitude of most namby-pamby left-wing leaners like myself to most arguments. I live surrounded by traditional racists. They make me laugh; because I consider myself to be an emotional and spiritual descendant of Homo Neanderthalensis. Cave-dwelling, artistic, family-orientated slope-browed progenitor of one facet of modern man. Personally, I think those who display more of the physical and emotional characteristics of that other facet, Homo Sapiens Idaltu - exploratory, competitive, ambitious, brutal and dominating - should bugger off back to Africa where they came from, regardless of skin colour. That includes Nick Griffin, the effing roundbrow.
Finally, I myself am one of these scroungers - thanks to ill-health. I try not to cost my country too much, though. I won’t run to my doctors once a week for him to tell me again that my neck is fusing together very nicely, thank you very much; or that the multiple head injures I sustained in my clumsy and overconfident past have left me with just enough brain damage that my balance and vision are wrecked - but not the language centres, thankfully. That costs money. Lots of it. In prescription fees paid to the doc, in PPA payments for painkillers that I won’t take to preserve my stomach. In DLA payments that I won’t apply for because that would be an admission that I was f*cked forever, as well as another drain on the state. But I am a contrary and awkward creature, like I said earlier. I will die or get better. When I worked though, I was reasonably highly paid and begrudged the £70 or £80 pounds a year of my taxes going into welfare far less than the significantly larger sums going toward failed IT schemes, obsolete nuclear deterrents and futile wars on foreign soil. Not education though, fortunately - No:1 Son has just started on the path toward an archaeology degree.
Maybe she’ll dig up one of my beloved Neanderthal ancestors.

But who will pay for all this? We have millions of unemployed, a substantial number of whom have no intention of ever working. Let’s get these scumbags into work first before we even consider allowing others in.
Britain is seen as a soft touch. A couple who are foreign nationals (I won’t give any more details than that for fear of being labelled anti this or that) live next door to my friend Shelley in a leafy part of London. They arrived here with nothing. The council gave them a home to live in. Both were unemployed. When questioned, the male said he would look for work if he had a car, so he had lessons and a car was purchased for him. Nothing fancy, but a fairly decent car. The female was also given the same. Now here they are, costing us God knows what and they have a free house, two free cars and all the benefits that go with. Both remain unemployed. I know not everyone is like that, but let’s face it, lots of them are. Why the hell should we pay for these spongers?

Britain would have seemed pretty full before the post-war building programmes, when tenement buildings were the lot of the poorly-paid and lower classes; when huge swathes of the land were given over to inefficient farming methods; and when the landed gentry owned most of the rest. That state is no longer.
Enough new houses, Dr. Eggman, and immigration will seem less of a sucking wound in Britannia’s chest and more like a skinned knuckle to her. Even people here illegally have to buy food, travel, and pay for goods and services.
Only the dead contribute nothing to a society.

magnentite, you’re right of course (I’m of Irish descent and look how popular “we” were), but there’s a difference. It’s whether you’re here legally. I disagree about Britain not being full though. It’s at bursting point.
ps don’t forget those with French heritage from 1066 onwards, or people with Viking Blood in them……..
No such thing as a pure British person, but I hope this doesn’t turn into a debate about racism as Milan seems to want (check out the link). It’s about legality.

Russioan émigrés in the first 20 years of the 20th century, German and European ones between the wars. Very little immigration action between 1939 and 1945 (perhaps that’s why the BNP love WW2 so much). Those from Commonwealth after the war. Those escaping the USSR expansion and those from the Carribean in the 50’s. Those from India, Pakistan and British Hong Knog in the 60’s and 70’s.
Questions: When did Britain become full, and when did Britain stop being Great because of immigration?
Answers: Never and Never.

See plenty like her on Border Patrol, etc. We can’t pick and choose favourite illegal immigrants, anymore than we can have favourite burglars or muggers. Britain is not responsible for the state of the rest of the world. She’s taken a job a “legal” person could have, whatever their nationality. If she’s had kids here, knowing full well she’s here illegally, that’s her fault, not ours.
No sympathy at all, I’m afraid. My brother lives in Australia but he did it all properly and got citizenship.
I hope they do the right thing and deport her. Every little helps.

By Milan from http://www.lollipopular.blogspot.com : This is sad, ridiculous and intolerant, at least she has got a reason to stay in the UK- because of her kids to provide them with such a great opportunity and life, which is rare in Africa and surely Fatou Cham is not a bad person she is doing her work properly trying her best; such person is needed in this country and has the right to stay in this land. I wouldn’t call this freedom- everyone has the right to try their best.
I would call this rascism, jealousy because this pretty mum is trying to fulfil her and her kids dreams, (Britain is a nationalist country) I definitely dislike the immigration officers.
What do You think?

She studied at London Met. Nobody has said she completed her course. She may be one of those with uncompleted modules that caused London Met to get financially bashed by the HEFC. Like sex, education doesn’t count unless you go all the way.
