Isn’t it wonderful. Poor parenting can now be blamed on paedophiles and all the other bad things out there. Parents can now totally relax knowing that if they are negligent they will simply get away with it. The precedent set by the MCCanns is in my opinion absolutely disgusting and I wait patiently for the day they have the guts to stand up to the media and the public and say “We neglected our children and take full responsibility at least for that” and instead of instilling fear and panic in other parents give them some good parental advice like not leaving them alone especially in a foreign country to fend for themselves. It is time to wake up and smell the roses.

All this is fine by hi-tech standards. Locating your child, husband, wife, lover, or even parents with alzheimers is a gimick. Would’nt it be more practical and responsible if the PARENTS act accordingly. A child should be constantly monitored. We should stop blaming the world because of our irresponsabilities and failures. I agree with the GPS monitoring system used in upmarket cars. As cars are easily targetted and therefore monitoring is somehow an asset. Humans on the other hand is a totally different ball game.

So let’s say a “paedo” takes off the device, you’re alerted… so what? By the time you get there, all you find is your stupid device. There is no sustitute for actually watching your kids.

One would hope in this instance that Oscar would sneakily remove his tracker device, attach it to the back of a despatch rider’s motor bike and have his clearly useless mother spend a day of panic chasing round town.
