Woman Too Stupid To Marry United With Wife Of Doctor Who Poisoned Mistress’s Unborn Baby
STORY juxtapostion of the day links the sorry tale of Kerry Robertson deemed too stupid to marry and too dumb to raise her child, and Mrs Edward Erin, who is standing by her doctor husband who tried to kill his mistress’s unborn child with poison.
KERRY Robertson, 17, has mild learning difficulties. She has been told that she is incapable of raising her own child, Ben.
Kerry Robertson has also been prevented from marrying her fiancé Mark McDougall, 25, after Dunfermline council officials ruled that she “did not understand the implications of getting married”.
Mark McDougall, the child’s father, says he can’t look after the child because as he’s not married to the mother the council won’t let him.
In the other story,
Edward Erin, a respiratory specialist at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, west London, dissolved abortion-inducing drugs in the coffee and orange juice of his mistress, Bella Prowse, so that she would miscarry the son she was expecting…
However, despite a trial during which Erin’s infidelities were discussed in detail, his wife, and mother of his two children, said she was standing by him.
So who makes the better parent – the poor teenager or the rich older man?
