The news flashes around the globe. In South Africa:

But what’s this? He’s back from the dead!
But Megrahi’s lawyer, Tony Kelly, told Reuters: “It’s absolutely untrue. He’s definitely not dead.”

AGW, I watched the interview on CNN last month when Gadaffi was interviewed live on television. Twice the question was put to him as to Libya’s involvement in the Lockerbie bombing. He dodged answering that query both times by immediately bringing up the bombing that killed his adopted daughter years before. Further, at no time during that live interview did he look at the Commentator asking questions.
As for who is gong to seek to answer any unanswered questions - the moment Megrahi takes his last breath I’ll wager you any thoughts of taking this any further will be dropped like a hot potatoe with zilch cooperation from the countries and officilas involved in that trial. That man can’t die soon enough I’m sure for any countries or officials who were involved in the trial and the country that released him under the guise of compassionate release. .

If he’s dead, then he has died as the worst mass murderer convicted in British history.
If not dead, he remains the worst mass murderer convicted in British history.
Even the members of the Scottish Government held firmly to that view at the Scottish Nationalist Party conference last week. Not a hint of a belief of innocence.
Guilt was the only the viewpoint. Guilty as charged and convicted but allowed a merciful end with his loved ones.
I care not one stoned date for the rights and wrongs of the conviction of a Libyan intelligence agent offered up by his own government for the Kamp van Zeist (Camp Zeist) trial; nor do I particularly care for precise details of the death agonies of a convicted murderer.
I do care and repeat the questions, which everyone seems to have either forgotten or would like us to forget:
Who now speaks for the murdered 270 of Lockerbie?
Who seeks to answer the unanswered questions and reveal the unexpurgated truth?

I’ll believe it when they show a close up of the corpse on worldwide TV.
