Suspected Swansea Burglar Sends Police Updated Mugshot

MATTHEW Maynard called the Swansea Evening Post to complain about the mugshot they were using of him.

Wanted by the police in connection with burglary, Matthew Maynard, 23, then submitted a picture of himself standing by a police van.

Says acting Chief Inspector Nigel Whitehouse:

“This has been a highly successful operation within the Swansea area, and has had a positive impact in the communities where people live, visit and work.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people of Swansea for the information they have provided, which, without any doubt, was instrumental in enabling us to effect a high number of arrests.”

Mr Maynard remains at large, although is available for modelling shots and catalogue work. Meanwhile, anyone seen them?
