X Factor: Jedward, John & Edward, Are Voted Out, But Then
X FACTOR: Jedward are out. John & Edward Grimes are gone. They are voted off. They are toast. Surely. Only…
The two in the sing off are Lucie Jones, representing Wales, and John & Edward Grimes, representing a small factory in suburban Nanjing, China.
Can Jedward survive? No. They can’t. They return to Mr Clon. E’s Jelly Mould & Couplings factory to be realigned and turned into something that can hang from your car’s rear view mirror.
Lucie sings on… But nooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Simon Cowell saves them by undoing all his guff about it being a singing show and how crap Jedward are by keeping them in.
He has no idea how the public voted. Yeah really. And the Pope has no ideas he has a balcony. It’s all teary and huggy and hideous at Simon Cowell’s pop factory.
He chews them up and he spits them out. The Jedward look-alike gallery now follows:

It is the public vote that should prevail not Simon decision alone at least who ever win will not be singing or performing for Simon alone

If Simon had not come up with the show in the first place, all of the potential acts would not even be showcased, at least the acts get to be seen and some even go on to stardom, I love the show. and love to see the good acts and the bad, the twins are a unique act in their own right ,and will no doubt go on to better things,

Simon Cowell is the one who says it’s supposed to be a singing contest and it’s his show.
There are loads of people disgusted with last night’s result. It was a chance for Simon to get rid of Jedward but he obviously doesn’t want to lose the publicity they generate every week.
I wish everyone would protest by not voting at all next week. That would be hilarious. What would they do? Make up some numbers? Get the judges to decide?

I love Jedward!!!
And it’s not a singing contest - it’s an x-factor contest… & a T.V. show… & no one who could make it as a pop star is going to be ruined by it.
The only people who will be harmed are the ones who love the taste of fame they get and can’t sustain it - but that’s showbiz (it’s always cruel).

The Pope knows about the balcony surely. He probably just doesn’t know that it’s his.

Simon Cowell’s decision today confirmed something that started to dawn on me last week, when he left the decision to the public vote and allowed Rachel to be dropped. The X Factor is not truly a singing contest, as he claims, but a money-making programme, and Cowell’s decisions are designed to maximize the publicity (good or bad, it doesn’t matter in show business), the viewing numbers, and the advertising revenue. He is sacrificing the hopes, dreams and careers of truly talented people in order to enhance his own wealth. It is disgusting.

The show makes fools of all the people who vote for it. “I’ll show that Simon” they all say as they vote for Jedward. He must be so pissed off what with all that money he’s making. Even Chico admitted that when Simon walked off during his audition it was a big con.
Still, you have to admire him. Who’s the dickhead? Not him!!

i actually LOVE jedward they are so funny haha

It is hideous telly. No fun in pop nor music - just money and a cheap sentiment. Wanna see the teenagers made to cry by the elite judges..?

HAHA!!! SCREW YOU!!!

Simon makes me so mad I can’t even believe this anymore. What’s with all the “it’s a singing competition, you shouldn’t be here yada yada yada.” Horrible, just horrible.
Oh well, I hope they’ll be out next week though.

This is a flippin disgrace, I thought this was the one chance to get them off the show… and even though Lucie’s performance was absolutely brilliant, Simon allowed them the chance of public vote… I don’t care if they received more votes.. the show is a talent show. They are making a mockery of us all.

Cannot believe Simon took the easy way out! I think it was tactical. Lucie was so good that he knew she was a serious threat to his acts. Cannot believe the twins are still in!!
