James Arthur Ray’s Thought Of Power And Talk Of Death
JAMES Arthur Ray: the Sedona Sweat Lodge Tragey where three people died, continues to makes waves. Our Man in La takes a look:
HMMM. This is perplexing.
Just last Saturday, James Ray posted an update on his internet and Facebook pages regarding the investigation into the Sedona sweat lodge tragedy.
“Not only is this situation requiring all of my personal focus,” said Ray in a very carefully worked statement, “it’s also consuming my entire team’s focus as well”
“For that reason,” he continued, “you can expect significant delays in responses to all general business requests.”
Interestingly enough, however, the tragedy hasn’t consumed so much of Ray’s time that it prevents him from e-mailing at least the occasional daily “Thought of Power” to the people on his mass correspondence list.
But it’s not so much the fact that he’s sending these thoughts, as it is what the thoughts themselves say.
Just today, one of the recipients of these daily “Thoughts of Power” forwarded one of them to Rumor Rat… see for yourself what it says:

Creepy, right?
At least that’s the feeling expressed by the person who forwarded the e-mail on to Rumor Rat.
What in the hell is James Arthur Ray thinking?
We have no way of knowing, since he has refused to speak with media since the tragedy happened. Not only that, but his alleged publicist, so-called “Master of Disaster” Mark Fabiani has not returned any of Rumor Rat’s phone calls, despite urging us via e-mail to call him with our questions.
You have our number, Mr. Fabiani. RR

To Wes:
Are you actually trying to minimize James Ray’s crimes by claiming that we’re all responsible?
Oh, please.
This argument is old and tired, and frankly, I am sick of it.

I thjink the “Ray Roast” is so over done. Everybody is so worked up about the character they portray as a demon because you are all seeking a villian. Villians sell stories and media is in serious need of one! That is what is chilling. Many good intentions end in tragedy. Teaching people to look within for inner strength is his common thread… Everyone on this board and other boards look outward for self help (and that is wrong) - that is why you all require eachother to feed off of this villian fantasy! It is sad that people died, don’t get me wrong - but people die every day pushing the limits of their bodies - but we are never willing to challenge popular beliefs (sports like boxing, UFC, marathons, motor racing, etc) but because they are popular society culture, we don’t see the irony…
New age teaching like James Ray, Bob Proctor, etc… you prefer to view as voodoo. Get over it… Perhaps the true villian is in each one of us!

Bad timing or providence? It’s true those e-mails are auto-generated, but I would think he would have someone re-program them and take out anything that might be held against him in a court of law. I’m so glad I gave that stuff up a long time ago.

There is nothing chilling about this specific message. It’s actually a good message about urgency and focus - not that different than ‘what do you want people to say about you at your funeral’. But that is also what makes Ray so dangerous. He takes a good message, then shifts. From one baby step to another, so the logic jumps aren’t hard.

For James Ray to post the above comment about death, given all of the pending circumstances, is downright chilling. You’d think at the very least, he’d have his staff editing out for these kind of glaring glitches.

I am not subscribed to “Thoughts of Power” or any of Ray’s programs and I am not trying to protect him either … but this kind of daily news-letters are usually programmed long time ago and they are sent to subscribers automatically. Bad timing I guess

I think these are auto-generated, because not everybody receives the same message on the same day. I have a friend whose Thoughts of Power were always different than mine were. I have not been receiving them recently.
