A YOUNG fan of pop phenomena John and Edward has taken his support for the controversial X Factor twins to the extreme.

Five-year-old Corey Beaumont became so overwhelmed with excitement when John and Edward - dubbed “Jedward” - made it through to the next round of the hit ITV show that he jumped for joy, fell awkwardly and broke his arm.

Can he still vote?

The pupil from Devonshire Primary School was rushed to hospital on Sunday evening and will now spend the next four weeks with his arm - from his shoulder to his fingers - in plaster.

Says Corey:

“I hope they get through this week. The singing is good and I like their dances.”
