In Pictures: Queen Riots At State Opening Of Parliament
THE State opening of Paliament is wonderful time, when the Queen does what she is told, the Prime Minister is made to stand still like a naughty schoolboy and then every one heads off for a cracking lunch.
Old Mr Anorak, our patron, was, as ever he is on such occassions, close enough to Her Majesty to recall fond memories of Liz’s youth. All that remains of that affair is a trace of forbidden love in Prince Andrew’s golf grip, which can be inherited.
