X Factor Live Blog: It’s Wham! Week. John and Edward, Danyl Johnson, Stacey Solomon, Jedward, Joe McElderry, Lloyd Daniels and contagious Olly Murs?

1. Lloyd Daniels - You’ve Got To Have Faith.

Lloyd needs faith because he doesn’t have a prayer of winning. Should have sung Wake Me Up Before You GoGo. A does of self-depracating humour might have saved him.

Damned by hard to like Louis Walsh: “I love everything except he voice Lloyd, I think you’re a real little pop star though.”

2. Stacey Solomon - I Can’t Make You Love Me

4. John and Edward - I’m Your Man.

Why aren’t they singing Bad Boys? All week Jedward have been plugging Sky News on Sky News. It’s putting us off watching. “Choose Life” say their T-shirts. It’s their command to the suicidal tuning in. It’s Jive Bunny meets the X Factor. It’s Jeadful (TM).

Damned by Simon Cowell: “It wasn’t really George and Andrew, more Andrew and Andrew.”

5.  Danyl Johnson - Careless Whisper

Indulgent. Melodramatic. Big eyes - you can see the whites all the way around the pupil. But he’s not the worst.

Given Dannii Minogue’s quip about his sexuality - he’s bisexual - Danyl should have sung Outside.

Damned by “national treasure”  (did you vote?) Cheryl Cole calling him “flat”. This is the same Cheryl Cole who did not sing live and unaided on the show and distracted us further from her magic voice with her use of underwear. She does not like Danyl. He stole her “Y”.

7. Olly Murs - Fast Love

Olly should have sung I’m Your Man. Olly is a shoo in. Although he is like a soap actor singing a song. Likeable.

6. Joe McElderry - Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me

Has Joe ever stayed up late enough to watch a sunset? He could win and the country will get another buffed boy singer. Joe has the compliancy factor. Simon Cowell must love him. He is as memorable as Katie Price’s back. But he is the best singer on the night.
