Susan Boyle: World Divided Over SuBo And Lady Susan
SUSAN Boyle: On the forums a debate over who invented SuBo. As we know all Simon Cowell novelty acts must have a name that can fit easily into a text message: Jedward, Subo – even Simon Cowell’s company is called Syco. But who invented it?
Anorak reader Percy Stilton says it’s his gift to the nation. US reader Bob tells us:
SuBo is the name the British “Tabloids” gave to Susan. I will never use it in any of my comments. Most, if not ALL of Susan’s American Fans refer to Susan as “Lady Susan” and even on YouTube most of those that make comments on her Videos refer to Susan as “Lady Susan” also.
Lady Susan makes her sound like the landed gentry’s hostess trolley of choice and SuBo is reminiscent of the sound Japanese WWW2 soldiers made as they emerged suddenly from the jungle in the 1970s.

Good evening, eggman. I do believe Percy has his own site; however as for a ‘national treasure,’ I haven’t heard him sing on Britain’s Got Talent yet and, thus, bringing people throughout the world to their feet in praise!

Defo Percy Stilton. Or PeSt, to give him his “short” name.
I think he deserves his own website, he’s a national treasure!

Lord Percy of Stilton.
Is that OK or does it sound a bit cheesy?

You are darn right he did, June. He did Anorak proud! Well, if Her Majesty takes my suggestion then, when bestowing titles, she should give Anorak our own Lord Percy!

Britiish ‘Tabloids” - everyone knows Percy gave her that name on Anorak and other newspapers picked up on it. All one has to do is trace it back to when Percy first gave her that name on here and then when it appeared in other papers.
She is singing live over here now in Rockefeller Square on the Today Show and the crowd is huge listening to her. People came from all over to see her live.
Frankly, I think Her Majesty should bestow her a title as Lady Susan; as she is truly a treasure for the UK.
