X Factor: Cheryl Cole Gets Her Own ITV Show, With Rihanna

WHEN the X Factor is finished, ITV will keep us up to speed with the life of Cheryl Cole with a one-off special, entitled Cheryl Cole’s Night In.

Given the tabloid chatter about Cheryl’s marriage to Chelsea and England footballer Ashley Cole – “Ashley blows hot and Cole” (Star);” Is Cheryl Cole’s love life losing the X Factor?” (Daily Mail) – Cheryl might be happy with the company.

We will join Cheryl as she sits on the sofa waiting for Ashley to come home and tell her that Clement Freud joke.

Maybe Cheryl can pass the time by washing her hair in L’Oreal shampoo to make it full and bouncy, as her TV advert says. And then she can tie in some hair extensions to make it look fuller and bouncier (always read the small print, shoppers).

She might like to sing into a hairbrush over a tape of her own song.

Happily, there is news of callers to chez Cheryl, like Rihanna, Will Young, Alexandra Burke and will.i.am and pretty much anyone else whose worked with Simon Cowell.

As for Ashley, he’s most likely also in which Cheryl - perhaps upstairs watching Match of the Day on the telly, writing his next autobiography or rehearsing that joke…
