The 19th Annual Le Bal Crillon In Pictures And ‘Well-Born Young Ladies’
ANORAK’S Man in Paris captures the magic of the19th annual ‘le Bal’ (Le Bal Des Debutantes) held at the Hotel de Crillon, in Paris, France. As it says here, “This event is the high-society debuts for 24 well-born young ladies.” Want to know who these princesses are?
Well they include: Lady Kitty Spencer (aunty was Princess Diana), Jane Aldridge (whose mum Judy is, - and we had to look it up (and no, there is nothing on Wikipedia) a fashion designer in Texas), Autumn Whitaker (Dad is actor Forest Whitaker), Virginia Tournon (Mum is Italian romance writer Benedetta Cibrario), Francesca Eastwood, (17-year-old daughter of Clint Eastwood) and putting the tin lid on the event’s credentials Kathy Lette’s kid Georgina. Class:

I agree with ‘fact checker’… in fact, if you check the details about most of the names… their parents etc, the so-called pedigree is pretty scandalous… Chinese Triad (Stanley Ho grandfather of Ariel Ho… YES Google it. Earl Champagne and ex-Heroine adict Victoria Lockwood… Yes0- Google it. Francesca FISHSER… she was apparently re-christined ‘Eastwood’ for the event. She is a daughter born out of wedlock to an actress that Clint Eastwood lived with for five years… YES Google it. The list is endless…. The party also reveals deep connections between Luxury brands LVMH, Chinease Organized Crime, and Top Communist party politicians in China… Because they are all friends and even the organizer reveals this in a french-Swiss article (lematin.ch) Google IT!
What’s laughable is that all the of the newspapers just digest publicity releases and treat them as real news. Garbage… I hope the public is still capable of critical thought… and in the midst of it all… what is Triad getting honored for (Ariel Ho is a guest of honor) when the charity is a benefit to SouthEast Asian children… a majority of which are victims of organized crime in Asia… Is Enfant D’Asie a front for the mob?!?!

1 - Jane Aldridge is pretty cool and writes a terrific blog. Her mother is in fashion, writes a blog about fashion. As for her influence:

JA: My parents have always stressed the importance of art to my sister and I. I spent a lot of time as a baby in my mom’s office for her clothing line - I started learning about fashion very early! When I was four I was really obsessed with Picasso, so my aunt (who is an artist) painted a mini replica of one of my favorite Picassos on my wall. We also traveled a lot!
Is Jane a well-to-do-girl?
My friends find my outfits very amusing. When I wore a dramatic transparent Comme des Garçons skirt to school, my friends wanted to try it on. I’m kind of used to people staring at me like I’m from another planet when I go out, it doesn’t faze me at all.
June 2009:
With her mother, Judy Aldridge, being a fashion designer, she isn’t stranger to the arts.

Jane Aldridge has talent but she also had a good starts, thank to mum and dad - from the above link:
The Texas high school student with what seems like an endless bank account has found her niche VERY early on in life, starting the blog at the wee age of 16.
If you have any link to says that her mum is not a designer please tell us.

Of course she is the daughter of someone…

“Jane Aldridge” is the 17 year old author of the fashion blog of Sea of Shoes, and her mom is no longer a designer. Where has fact checking gone these days? If you Google her you can easily find that her blog is one of the top fashion blogs and has been featured in Vogue and Teen Vogue on numerous occaisions.
How ignorant of you to assume that she is the daughter of ’someone’. You should correct this article
