7517829X FACTOR: It’s the X Final grand final between Jonas Brother lite Joe McElderry and Olly Murs, the Dancing On Ice stage dancer – which means the News of The World leads with:

CHERYL Cole wants to quit and have a baby

Cheryl Cole wants to quit X Factor to have a baby, the News of the World can reveal.

This would be the same Cheryl Cole who revealed back in May:

“I think I’m ready for parenthood now.”

And of whom we learnt in October:

“She’s in too much of a state to think about falling pregnant right now.”

And of whom we learnt back in January’s Daily Mail:

There have also been rumours Simon Cowell is fighting to take Cheryl to the States on the heels of her impressive appearance on X Factor last year. He is said to have hired lawyers sort out the paperwork required for a US work visa, which has been made more complicated by her 2003 assault conviction.

And in March:

Ashley told Cheryl he wants her to be pregnant by Christmas because they’ve bought a new house to have a family in. They want their home to be filled with happiness as well as the sound of children’s laughter. Cheryl’s agreed to it…

Cheryl is calling Anorak’s Celebrity Baby Ordering And Star Treatment Service (BOAST). And the media is lapping up the PR-driven X Factor new that now takes in Cheryl Cole’s ovaries:

The show’s supremo Simon Cowell is desperate to keep his ace judge and ITV would double her £1.2million salary.

The X Factor was always about Simon Cowell promoting Cheryl Cole. Here’s a source:

If you’ve won the show twice in a row what else is there left to prove? There’s massive demand in America for her to promote her music which is something she’s agreed to do.”

And the front-page baby, the little Ashley Cole?

A music industry expert added: “It’s not only America she has to tackle. Europe is a huge market with lots of countries she has to visit. Cheryl also has her Girls Aloud commitments to honour with the group booked to record their next album late next year, clashing with X Factor.

But the baby?!

“Simon is very persuasive and Cheryl admires him hugely. He will try to get one last series out of her. For Simon it’s nothing short of a disaster if she does go through with what she’s thinking and walks out of the show.”

So no baby. Phew!

Olly Murs and Joe McElderry have already lost. They never had chance of winning the Cheryl Cole show…
