Lady GaGa Implicated In Death Of Manchester Schoolgirl
TO prove that no story, however tragic, cannot be made better with the addition of a celebrity name, the Daily Mail brings us the Lady GaGa killing. Or as the paper puts it, tastefully:
“Schoolgirl, 10, accidently hanged herself with dressing gown cord as she danced to Lady Gaga”
The music is relevant to Mail readers. It’s as if Lady GaGa is in some way involved in the death of a child. Of course, she was not. So why mention her?
The Sun bows it’s head and writes of Megan Williams, 10, who was dancing to Lady Gaga in her bedroom when dressing gown cord became entwined about her neck.
“GaGa girl is hanged.”
Good to see that the Sun remains sensitive to the parents’ loss and that Megan Williams did not die in vain but provided the tabloids with a decent celebrity-based headline…
