GBH. You’re almost certainly right. Dead or alive, poor Madeleine will most likely be found near PdL. (IMO)
But like Bat E Bird, I wish they’d shut up about it. Not because I don’t care, I’m desperate to hear news about Madeleine, but because it does the case no favours at all. There’s been a quiet dignity to the whole affair of late. I think we’ve all assumed that the search would be ongoing and, like any half decent enquiry, you don’t tell suspects you may be onto them through the pages of the world’s media!

Every day that the newspapers can run a story about an obese, scruffy, gypsy-like “abductor” is another day that the McCanns themselves avoid scrutiny.

They absolutely dare not ask for the investigation to be re-opened…they think (and are probably right) that the thick public will forget all this as they are whipped into an anti-PJ frenzy.

She’s more likely to be found in PDL or the surrounding area. Perhaps in the ocean or up in the hills under some rocks. The worldwide campaign simply distracts people from the more likely location of this poor child’s body.

Well now, which is it to be? The globe trotting girl in the clutches of the fat, balding, gypsy, yacht owning paedo who’s treating her like a princess, or, as their own top ex cop private investigator says, held in a lair within ten miles of PDL?
It beggars belief, when will someone put a stop to all this???

Can anyone tell me why if “this material is like gold dust” to the McCanns, why are they not confirming their victory and the importance of these sightings on their own web pages? Why are they leaving all of the credit to be taken by the press, when this was the result of the wonderful work done on their behalf by their lawyer?
