Alice In Wonderland Makes Late Running for Best Film Oscar

OSCARS in Pictures: the Oscars come too late for Alice in Wonderland, the latest show from Tim Burton’s central casting. One day Burton’s films will come with the epithet “Carry On” – you knoow what you’re going to get and is no less enjoyable for it.

Anhow, what you want to know is what the critics think of it – that shadowy band who sit by the aisles, never buy their own nachos and won a pen with light on one end and green nip on the other.

Larushka Ivan-Zadeh is The Metro’s film critic. Says she:

Perhaps this is harsh – by most standards it’s a good fantasy flick with some fun, quirky bits – but you expect more from the director of The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Yeah, good one, Ivan-Zadeh. TNBC – the film directed by Henry Selick.
