Cardinal Sean Brady Picks A Good St Patrick’s Day To Bury Bad News On The Paedo Priest

CARDINAL Sean Brady is The head of the Catholic Church in Ireland. He chose a good day to bury bad news.

He went to the St Patrick’s Day mass in Armagh Cathedral after apologising for failing to alert police about paedophile priest Father Brendan Smyth about a notorious paedophile priest.

Brady defended his role in a 1975 meeting where two children abused by Father Brendan Smyth were asked to take a vow of silence as part of the internal church investigation. Still, it’s St Patrick’s Day – so let’s all cheer up, get pissed and let bygones by bygones. Right, Mr Brady…
