MADELEINE McCann – Raymond Helwett had died.
The “Maddie paedo” – as the tabloids called him – is dead.
Still, at least now we can all gawp “Gypsy snatchers“, Maria Alice dos Santos Silveira, Jorge Vitorino Cabral Martins and Yvone Albino.
Hewlett, a convicted sex attacker, became a person of interest. He became the “Maddie paedo” and the media’s “Maddie Pervert”. He’s dead.

I HOPE THEY THE POLICE WILL NOW BE SPEAKIND TO HIS WIFE. I THINK HA HAD A BIG RING AROUND HER NECK. SHE OR EITHER THEIR CHILDREN MIGHT KNOW SOMETHING. I HOPE IN GOD`S NAME MADDIE IS STILL FINE.

Yes, let’s hope so. Obviously they’ve pointed out that it’s unlikely to have a positive outcome given that so much time has gone by. I suppose the main point is that the Mcs will feel everything possible has been done once the case has been treated as it would have been in the UK.
Computers! We had a new network, new computers and new software installed a few weeks ago. There were all sorts of problems and I was out of touch for a good while, but the relative kindly doing the job actually got really hooked on Anorak while staying with us, having seen the Anorak link on a couple of our computers. Ironic since it was just as I was feeling less inclined to think this topic worthwhile until there is more real news. Still, I’ve been popping in and out more again recently.
I’d like to hope for real news. I hope the decision does reflect a genuine belief that there is more to be done and is not just a response to the public’s sympathy for Madeleine and her parents. (Election time!) I hope that, having asked him to review the case, Johnson accepts Gamble’s view. Little point in the review otherwise.

Maria, my PC has been playing up for a while now and I need a new one asap but haven’t found the time to get it.. (I don’t connect my laptops for fear of viruses from dubious people!)
As a result I have no bookmarks and the machine is so internet-slow everything is a chore but the upside to that is that I’m completely out of the loop on MMC and its been quite restful! All I see is what’s on Anorak because I know that web address off by heart!
Your link therefore was interesting….. lets hope a new investigation by fresh eyes happens very soon.
