Army Vet Tilern DeBique Wins £17,016 And Urban Camouflage Award

by | 16th, April 2010

TILERN DeBique, 28, was spotted leaving an industrial tribunal in Holborn central London, after winning £17,016 compensation from the Ministry of Defence. She used to be in the Army and by the looks of her she seems to have learnt much of urban camouflage in a hostile environment. DeBique was monstered in the tabloids for requesting £1.1 million compo for sexual discrimination. Or was it £500,000? At least all media could agree that DeBique is a single mother, and therefore worthy of scorn.

The Mail did more maths and compared her to “severely-wounded paratrooper Ben Parkinson was offered a paltry £152,000”. (How much he wanted is not said.)

And in the end she got just over £17k. So, the media firestorm was over nothing much…
