The Hunt For Raoul Moat And The Mystery Caller: In Pictures

by | 7th, July 2010

IN PICTURES the hunt for Raoul Moat. The police are out in force. (It might be a good time to rob the Post Office in Darlington.) But not if you’re Raoul Maot. Was that him amid the police escort emerging from the woods near Wagtail Farm where it is believed Raoul Moat had been hiding out?

Sources at the scene said the man was not Moat. So who? The plain-clothed officers then walked the man up a lane and told the media not to follow.

Detective Chief Superintendent Neil Adamson seeks to flatter Moat and thereby lull him into a sense of superiority and feed his narcissism. The police – they do flatter to deceive:

We believe [him] to be a measured individual who appears to carefully plan his actions and is comfortable in an outdoor environment.”

Do you hear that, Moat? Or are you reading the press who say you are deranged? Or do you not believe what the police are saying:

Adamson revealed that a new letter found at Moat’s vacated campsite showed that he still thought the man he shot dead last weekend was a police officer, despite repeated assertions that the person had been a martial arts instructor.

Police have found the remains of a fire in Rothbury, Northumberland, as the manhunt for fugitive gunman Raoul Moat continues.
