Pete Doherty’s Hospital Tour Kicks Off In France: Pictures

PETER Doherty. Not dead. News to chew on, readers. But if he’s not in the morgue, it must mean Pete is in one of two places to make him newsworthy: the court or the hospital.

Lindsay Lohan’s booked the celebrity courtroom show, so that must mean Peter’s sat in the sweaty sheets and Dettol.

And he’s in not just any hospital – Peter’s in a French hospital. After his successful Courtroom Tour, Peter’s on the Hospital Tour, taking in a billing at the Theatre de Verdure in Nice.

Peter Doherty was lined up to sing but opted for an unplugged (surely plugged in? – ed) gig in the clinic. Says a source:

“Some fans were crying. It was terrible.

“Three young Italian girls were really mad. They drove four hours from Italy to see Pete Doherty and couldn’t believe the gig was cancelled. One of them was really furious and shouted, ‘I can’t believe he did that! It cost us time and money to come all the way from Italy.'”

Yayyyy! They say you haven’t really seen Pete Doherty play live until you haven’t seen Pete Doherty play live…
