Kyron Horman: Michael Cook, Sex And Waiting For Terri Horman To Confess

by | 14th, July 2010

KYRON Horman: All eyes still on Terri Moulton Horman, the missing boy’s step-mother who was the last person known to have seen Kyron. The seven-year-old is still missing. Are the police looking for him or just waiting for the media and the whispering campaign to prick a confession from Terri Homan? And do the police know what crime, if any, has been enacted?

The news round-up:

My Fox Chicago: “Missing Boy’s Mom Says Abduction Planned”

Desiree Young, Kyron’s biological mother, said she is convinced “without a doubt” that her ex-husband’s now-estranged wife, Terri Horman, plotted her son’s disappearance.

Desiree Young is married to Tony Young, who just happens to be a copper in the area. The police have made no arrests. The police have not named Terri Horman as a suspect. But Desiree Young just knows. So. What does she know and how does she know it?

“In my heart of hearts, I have a feeling she had help. It’s my feeling, my gut,” Young said on The Today Show…

Andy more facts?

“Kyron became increasingly unhappy about not spending time with me. He wanted to come live with [me and his stepdad]. Several times he would just break down and sob because he wanted to stay.

But he didn’t. Why didn’t he? And why didn’t the courts grant Desiree Young custody of Kyron when Desiree and Kaine Horman, Kyron’s dad, split up?

Oregon Live: “Terri Moulton Horman expected to attend July contempt of court hearing”

What’s she supposed to have done?

Terri Horman shared the contents of a sealed restraining order – most notably her husband’s new address – with a man whom Terri Horman had developed an intimate and sexual relationship with since her stepson Kyron’s disappearance on June 4. The man, Michael Cook, was a high school friend of Kaine Horman.

What? She’s leaking details of the case? Isn’t that the job of the police, allegedly?

This Is Evidence Of What?

[Kaine Homan’s] lawyer, Laura Rackner, said Moulton Horman had agreed to move out and agreed not to ask for parenting time though he does not want to pay for the move.

“He would like some cooperation from her first,” Rackner said on “Today.” “He’d like to know where his son is, if he’s safe or not.”

In court documents filed Monday, Horman accused his estranged wife of having an affair with a man he went to high school with during the search for Kyron and “sexting” the man, in addition to violating a restraining order that forbade her from releasing his new address.

How long was this alleged affair going on for, and did it begin before Kyron Horman vanished?

Asked about the sexting, Young rolled her eyes. “I guess to say it tactfully, it goes to someone’s character if you’re doing something like that,” she said. “It’s disgusting.”

Dirty talk with a lover is a sign of child kidnap?

And What of Michael Cook?

Yet when you see him on TV, he seems like a nice guy. He must have had good reason to side with Terri, to lend his sympathetic ear to a woe-begotten Moll besought by troubles galore, a world of hurt, a modern day witch burned at the stake in a public square of opinion, Salem, Massachusetts. Cook is going against the grain of common thought here. But why?

It must be because he believes in Terri’s innocence

Must it?

In Other No News:

A criminal profiler not involved in the Kyron Horman investigation said Wednesday that focusing entirely on stepmother Terri Horman would be a mistake. Frank Colistro, a forensic psychologist, said people following the case should be careful when pointing the finger at Terri Horman because authorities have not named her as a suspect or even a person of interest. “We can do a disservice to the investigation by taking attention off other people who maybe ought to be observed and looked at,” Colistro said.

Kyron Horman is missing. And everyone is watching the parents…
