Fourth Member Of Three-Piece Act N-Dubz Convicted Of Groping In Glasgow
AARON Fagan is the BBC’s N-Dubz “star”. He’s the star no-one had heard of nor noticed until he sexually assaulted two women in Glasgow. It’s a crime he denies.
Before Aaron Fagan, 25, groped two women at Strathclyde University students’ union in John Street on 1 October last year, he was the fourth member of a three-piece act. (Image – Fagan fourth from right just out of shot.)
Now we meet Fagan front stage centre. As he leaves Glasgow Sheriff Court he turns to the media:
“I’m a black man and I have been tried by a white jury. It’s pretty clear what happened in that court and it’s the opposite of justice.”
Fagan has a sense of drama and of being hard-done by but fails to notice that there is no jury. He was convicted by Sheriff Joanna Johnston.
It’s all more than a bit pathetic. If you want to be the fourth member of N-Dubz, you need to be seen as cool. If you must go down, go down for a decent crime. Being placed on the sex offenders register for groping young women is more caravan park than street.
As for the crime, one of his victims told us:
“As we were climbing the stairs he took his hand away from my neck and put it on my bottom and started grabbing at it. We carried on climbing the stairs and he hit my friend on the bum too. He then moved round behind me and, with both arms reaching round from behind, started to grab my breasts. I took both his hands off me and told him not to touch me.”
What did he say?
“He said I was a very dirty girl and asked if I knew what he meant by that.”
Close your eyes and hear those words coming from a middle-aged man. Cool? Edgy? Black? White? Blue?
Later as he left court he added to the notion that he was the true victim of a race crime:
“Yeah, of course, it’s that along with my profile that got me found guilty.”
His profile? The one that was once flatter than a pre-op Lady Boy and now has little Priapic bulge in the centre..?
