Is Christian Voice A Parody Like Christian Wire And ‘Cured’ Gay Donnie Davies?
AT Manchester’s Pride event, Christian Voice protestors yelled “sinful” and “wicked” at the gays passing by, including Lord of the Rings actor Sir Ian McKellen and people who aren’t gay but know someone who might be.
Pat Karney, the council’s city centre spokesman, hears the “vile, hate-filled rantings”:
“This is 2010, not 1950, and young gay men and women should not be subjected to this hatred. We have a proud history in Manchester of freedom of speech but there is no place for this.”
Stephen Green, national director of Christian Voice, cries foul:
“It is a very sad day for this country when the authorities want to clamp down on the teachings of the Gospel. This is a major assault on freedom of speech.”
Christians are massing. Take Christian Wire, a US organisation that claims 5500 full fledged members. It’s founder Tyson Bowers III tells Anna North:

And there is Donnie Davies. He wants to hear about your gay bands. His list of gay bands includes (his words in brackets): Lil’Wayne, Coldplay, SlipKnot (make-up), RadioHead, Michael Jackson, Jonas Brothers, P-Diddy, Marilyn Manson (dark gay), Morrissey(?questionable?), George Michael (texan), Frank Sinatra, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Elton John(really gay).

What do we do, Donnie?
I’d like to start by saying that we recognize the Youth of America as the most valuable asset to the future of our Christian race. We cannot have Gay Children if we are to continue as a species. It is simple biology. Gay people do not reproduce. We have to protect our Children from the Gay Menace. I’ve come up with a comprehensive list of Gay Bands to watch out for. Use this list wisely. Check your Child’s music collection. If they have three or more of the bands on The List it is safe to say that they are in grave danger of contracting this devastating disease.
Davies Is not gay – he has been cured by CHOPS – CHANGING HOMOSEXUALS into ORDINARY PEOPLE.
