X Factor: What Really Didn’t Happen At Simon Cowell’s Villa
REMEMBER that story about X Factor hopefuls “trashing” Simon Cowell’s villa in Marbella? Remember how the word “trashed” or a variant was used in very tabloid story of the alleged event?
Cameron Neilson, a singer with Princes & Rogues, read the stories. He tells The Daily Record:
“It was all untrue. I’d love to say I partied all night in Simon Cowell’s house but I didn’t.
“We were up at 6am and were auditioning, practising or being filmed until 1am. And we didn’t stay at the villa, we stayed at a hotel. After the filming finished, all the groups went straight back to the hotel. We were never anywhere near alcohol.
“I don’t think any one of us had a drink.”
The Daily Record is owned by Trinity Mirror, owners of the Daily Mirror, which told us on its front page that the villa was “trashed”…
