WHY is the New York Times suddenly interested in Andy Coulson and the phone hacking crime – that old story being reheated in the left-wing press?
(For the fourth day running the story leads on the Indy and the Guardian.)
Might it be because publishing genius Rupert Murdoch owns the Wall Street Journal, rival to the moribund NY Times?
Murdoch also owns the New of The World, the paper Coulson edited at the time of the voicemail phone hacking scandal – the paper Coulson resigned from as a direct result of that criminality.
