Thai Woman Gives Birth To An Egg: Photos

by | 9th, September 2010

CHAWEE Chinchaiphum has given birth to an egg in Thailand. Neither mum nor the dad, Chawee’s husband Prayut, both 40, have showcased the bouncing egg. But for 10 baht you can buy a photo of the wonder. And the photos are selling well.

We turn back to clock to 9am on the morning of August 16, 2010. A pregnant Chawee is feeling pains in her stomach area.

Mr Prayuth calls the ambulance. Mrs Chawee will not get inside and the vehicle leaves.

At 11:30 am, Mrs Chawee gives birth to an egg. The egg is three centimetres long.

Mrs Chawee cleans the blood off her newborn, dusts it with talcum powder and places it on a tray. An unknown person takes a photo of the egg and puts the image on sale.

Police Sen Sgt Maj Prayan Somkhan says he is uncertain if the egg baby is real or not.

And it might be a hard case to crack (a tap on the snare drum, puh-lease…)
