X Factor 2010: Gamu Nhengu Blames Show For Her Execution In Zimbabwe

by | 9th, October 2010

X FACTOR 2010: Gamu Nhengu is all set to be deported to Zimbabwe. But Simon Cowell says he will he help and has his lawyers helping out. Says he:

“I really feel for their situation, and that’s outside of the show.”

Nothing is outside of the show. So much is the show the be all and end all of Gamu’s story that the Star comes up with a front-page headline that has Cher Lloyd saying:

“I’LL WIN NOW GAMU’S DEPORTED.”

Having thus presented Cher as a cold-hearted young woman happy that Gamu has gone from the show and the country (although she has yet to leave), the NoTW has Gamu saying:

“There’s a firing squad waiting for us there and they’re putting me in front of it.”

Adding:

“If I hadn’t been on the show everything would be fine.”

But the X Factor cares, right?

“I have had no calls from Cheryl or from Simon.”

And of Cher, the woman presented so bleakly:

“She’s got the swagger on stage but backstage she’s actually quiet. She has a good heart.”

But who’s listening? The TV show’s finalists have been chosen and their characters on the cynical TV dictated by the marketing department.

The singers are not the winners. Simon Cowell is always the winner. Gamu is big news. This is her Wispa moment. The X Factor is lapping it up the controversy. As the NoTW says:

Speaking from a top-secret location in Scotland, where X Factor bosses are hiding her…

Because the less you see of Gamu – the more you want her…
