Will Ban On Weed Lead Jail Prisoner Vote Campaigner John Hirst Back To Jail?

by | 5th, November 2010

JOHN Hirst is the convicted killer out on licence who uses the European Convention on Human Rights to give prisoners the vote.

Hirst told the BBC’s Jeremy Vine Radio Show that he’s breached the terms of that licence by smoking marijuana. A formal complaint has been made to the law.

Tory David Morris MP tables a question for PMQs:

“To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, if the Probation Service will (a) consider the compliance of John Hirst with the terms of his licence for release from custody and (b) recall him from his release on licence.”

Legalise dope? Well, yes. But, luckily, it’s not been done yet…
