PricewaterhouseCoopers Men Audit Female Staff For Looks And Shaggability: Email
THE email at ‘Big Four’ accountancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) features an audit of the company’s new, young female staff circulating between 17 male colleagues. The missive features a “Top 10” of women at one of the big accountancy firms.
When we first saw it we thought it might be PR event to dispel myths of accountants all looking like an anaemic Rosa Klebb. But, then, we realise it was the real deal and the fools had been thinking of sex when they should have been looking at less rounded figure.
Says PWC’s human resources partner Carmel O’Connor (aka No. 4311):
“We are taking this matter extremely seriously and are launching a full investigation. We will take all necessary steps and actions in line with our firm’s polices and procedures.”
