Ohio Limits Condemned Prisoners’ Final Words

by | 23rd, November 2010

OHIO plans to limit the time given over for a condemned prisoner to make his last words known. Michael Beuke, who murdered three people, delayed his lethal injection for 17 minutes by reciting the Catholic rosary. He did not sing Kanye West’s Runaway, repeat Louis Walsh’s blather before removing an X Factor act nor give his views on Kate Middleton and Prince William. Had he done so he may still be alive today…

“Hey, fellas! How about this for a headline for tomorrow’s paper? ‘French Fries!’” – James French, a convicted murderer yelled to the press

“Bugger Bognor” – King George V

“LSD, 100 micrograms I.M” – Aldous Huxley

“Hurry up, you Hoosier bastard, I could kill ten men while you’re fooling around!” – Carl Panzram, serial killer

“Now, now, my good man, this is no time for making enemies” – Voltaire to a priest who had asked him to renounce Satan

“Pardon me, sir. I did not do it on purpose” – Queen Marie Antoinette steps on the foot of her executioner

“I can’t sleep” – J. M. Barrie

“I should never have switched from Scotch to Martinis” – Humphrey Bogart

“I am about to — or I am going to — die: either expression is correct” – Dominique Bouhours, French grammarian
