Asian Pimps, Rape Gangs, Pakistani Paedophiles And Teenage Dreams

IN Derby a third Anglo-Asian gang in recent weeks to have raped and abused young girls has been sentenced. The police are getting more active.

One victim was aged 12. In all 27 girls have come forward. Fifteen of them have resulted in a conviction. Two of the girls were black and three Asian – the rest were white.

In this latest case, eight men have been convicted so far. At Leicester Crown Court Abid Mohammed Saddique, 27, and Mohammed Romaan Liaqat, 28 – both married with children – are between them found guilty of rape, sexual assault, sexual activity with a child and aiding and abetting rape.

Others already sentenced are: Akshay Kumar, 38; Faisal Mehmood, 24; Mohammed Imran Rehman, 26; Graham Blackham, 26; Naweed Liaqat, 33; Farooq Ahmed, 28; Ziafat Yasin, 31.

The BBC makes no mention of the ethnicity of the victims and the criminals. The Pakistani names are clear. But are the crimes triggered by religion and race?  Do these Pakistanis think white girls are easy? Do the girls fall in love with the boy showering them with attention? The Times told us in 2008 of life in Bradford:

Well-dressed Asian teenage boys can be found on the lookout for young white girls, following them around those stores that sell cheap jewellery and perfume. Meanwhile, older men sit on the benches, watching their workers and potential recruits in action. The older men are “employing” the boys to chat up the girls and eventually hand them over.

As for this latest crime wave, the Mail takes a different tone:

Asian gang raped girls as young as 12 after picking them up on the streets for sex

The first word of the story is “Asian”. The Mail sees this as a key element in the story.

Former Labour MP Ann Cryer caused a storm of controversy in 2003 when she warned that the practice of arranged marriages abroad helped tempt a criminal minority of British Asian men into targeting young, white girls for sex .

Criminals tempted into committing crime? Do they need to be tempted?

Yesterday she called on the police, public and in particular Asian communities to acknowledge the ‘clear problem’, regardless of social taboos surrounding it.

Miss Cryer, whose former seat in Keighley, West Yorkshire, had a large Asian minority, said: ‘This issue involves only a small part of the Asian community, but it is something the wider Asian community needs to take ownership of and address.’

She said believed British Asians felt tied down in marriages with spouses in which they had nothing in common because of a ‘clash of cultures’.

So. How relevant is the men’s Asian roots? Are young Asian girls not as available, or are they just raped at home? Are these Asian men sex tourists who have more in common with white men who go to south east Asia looking to have sex with children? How relevant is that the girls were white? Or is, as we believe, a story that shows that a paedophile is a paedophile regardless of their age, race or preferences..?
