Big Issue Seller Flogs Woman’s Dog Left Outside Tesco As She Shopped
SHERRY Sourena is the 60-year-old with the cocktail-sweet name who left her dog Tetley outside the Tesco’s on Bournemouth’s Triangle. When she retuned the Lurcher Saluki cross has been sold by a bogus Big Issue seller for £20.
Says she:
“What he did was evil and calculated. He’s ruined my life. I’ll never risk leaving Tetley alone again. He’s all I’ve got.”
The story goes that she left Tetley outside the store. She saw two men petting him. A girl tells her that a man had walked off with her dog. She gives chase and catches him.
“I was screaming at him. He told me – and I believe him – that the man outside Tesco sold Tetley to him for £20. Tetley wagged his tail and came over to me and wouldn’t leave. It was obvious he was mine.”
Tesco offers no comment, and has yet to open store a dog take-away in North Korea…

“Bogus Big Issue Seller” This may be libellous: there is no proof this entrepreneurial animal dealer was a bogus anything.
There are circles where he would be lauded for sales technique.
The meat market at the rear of the Blue Dog restaurant Phnom Penh, Cambodia springs to mind.
Previous owner Sherry Sourena would attract a much healthier figure in Papua New Guinea.
