Who Chopped Down The Glastonbury Holy Thorn Tree?

THE Glastonbury Holy Thorn Tree that sits on Wearyall Hill in Somerset – a tree linked to St Joseph of Arimathea with a history going back 2000 years – has been attacked. It has been hacked down. All the remains is a stump.
Who did it? And why?
