Madeleine McCann, Austerity And Wikileaks: Who’s For Another Conspiracy?

ON the very day that the Guardian brings news that Madeleine McCann was the subject of Portuguese and British police liaisons, the Forensic Science Service, where DNA of the case was sent for analysis, is to be wound up.
The story goes that the service was making operational losses of £2 million per month and was likely to run out of money by January.
But, hell, it’s a slow news day so what’s one more conspiracy on the news mill…
